Meet Dr Fox
Dr Fox is passionate about the early detection of skin cancer and offers a warm, thorough and personalised approach to patients of all ages. She is a fully Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA) and is studying the Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) with the University of Queensland. Abigail has advanced procedural skills to manage the vast majority of skin cancer diagnoses, and established links with leading specialists to provide timely treatment for complex cases.
Outside of her skin cancer work you may find Dr Fox working at several Urgent Care clinics in Sydney, maintaining her generalist medical skills.

A comprehensive full skin check (from scalp to toes) using detailed dermoscopy examination
Spot Checks
A shorter appointment to review approximately 1-5 lesions of concern
Procedures
Skin biopsies, lesion excisions, flap and graft repairs, cyst & lipoma removals (procedures require a consultation prior to booking)
Fees
Dr Fox is a privately billing specialist GP with advanced qualifications and skills in skin cancer diagnosis and management.

Frequently Asked Questions
Please arrive 5 minutes ahead of your first appointment to complete registration paperwork. Please bring any referral documents, previous pathology results, and any other relevant medical documents to give to reception staff on arrival. If you are on multiple medications it is useful to bring a list of these.
Skin cancers can occur anywhere you have skin - so you will be asked to undress to your underwear (please notify Dr Fox if you have any lesions on your genitals which need to be checked).
Your comfort is very important - a hospital style gown will be offered to you for your comfort and warmth.
Please remove any fake tan products and makeup ahead of your appointment to provide bare skin for examination. These products can prevent accurate diagnosis of subtle cancers.
Some people find a skin exam intimidating. All bodies are welcome, and I am committed to providing a respectful and inclusive space where you can feel comfortable.
LGBTIQ+ patients are warmly welcomed.

It is often helpful to bring a short written list of your concerns if you are feeling nervous.
